How can I purchase a work of art?
You can purchase a work of art by visiting our Purchasing page and submitting an inquiry via email. The only works for sale through us are for the exhibitions that are still live. However, if you would like to purchase a work from a past show we are happy to put you in contact with the artist.
How can I get my work onto PGV?
PGV hosts multiple juried exhibitions a year. If you would like to be featured on our social media, or would like the chance to be exhibited on our site, you should check out our Submit page and apply to our Open Calls.
How can I curate a show for PGV?
We are always welcoming new independent curators to submit their exhibition proposals for online shows. If you have a proposal, you can find more information on submitting it here.
Where are you located?
Project Gallery V is a completely online gallery. However, both of the founders live and work in Brooklyn, NY.
Why is your platform online only?
PGV came together during the global pandemic and permanent closure of so many physical galleries during Covid-19. In the wake of canceled shows, lack of opportunities, exposure, and networking, we started PGV as a way to bring these aspects of the community back into our lives.
Being completely online allows us to support and invite artists from all over the world to participate in our programming. It additionally allows a global audience to see our exhibitions and read our curator and artist interviews on their own time.
Why does PGV charge an application fee?
PGV charges an application fee to keep the project ongoing. All of the application fees go back into maintaining the website, promoting the exhibitions, and paying our guest juror. We try to maintain a low application fee however because we understand how expensive it can get.

Who pays for shipping when a work is sold?
Shipping is paid for by the purchaser, however the packaging of the work is paid for by the artist. We email the artist when complete payment is received and then the work will be shipped in a timely manner. We remain in close contact with the artist during this process.
What is Project Gallery V named after?
PGV is named after the graphic novel V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and was initially started on Varet street in East Williamsburg.
